The newsletter is a little late this month, although you’d never be able to tell it’s September from the weather. I am sweating - or rather melting - like a frost giant.
The reason for the delay? I was sitting on enormous news and every time I sat down to write the newsletter, all I could think of was typing out THAT. So, here you are. BIG LOKI NEWS!
So….
In 2024, Loki will be in the World Book Day lineup, with LOKI: Tales of a Bad God. It’s a collection of three short Loki stories, including a retelling of one of those Norse myths Loki keeps referencing and promising to tell us more about later. Well, later = next spring! A hint about the myth retelling… you might want to start thinking about wedding presents for Thor…
I’m absolutely thrilled. Loki is absolutely unbearable.
World Book Day is on Tuesday 7th March. I don’t know where I’ll be spending it yet, but I know it’s going to be QUITE the week!
Read more about World Book Day here - and find out what the other books are. It’s an INCREDIBLE lineup this year!
Upcoming events
I’ll be on the road again in September. On the international front, I’m going to be in Sofia, Bulgaria later this week and Hamburg on Sept 27th as part of the Harbour Front festival.
In the UK, I’ll be at Wigtown festival in Scotland on Saturday 23rd September (my birthday actually). It’s my first time there and I can’t wait to explore the bookshops!
That’s all for now - I’m off to go and read over my World Book Day Book. I cannot WAIT to share it next year!
